Ohio Northern University. Last fall, when I made the decision to attend this college, many factors played into it. Not only was I offered the chance to be on the softball team, and several great scholarship opportunities, there was something more than money and sports at ONU. The atmosphere of the campus was far different than any other visit I had been on. It felt like a family and I knew the moment I stepped onto campus that I would call this my home. When I moved in on August 16, 2018, the excitement really set in. The first week on campus has been hectic, to say the least. Between working out, starting classes, making new friends, and adjusting to community bathrooms, I haven't had the time to sit and really reflect on how amazing it truly all is. From welcome weekend to studying in the library, the opportunities here are endless. I have learned so much already which makes me extremely ecstatic for what is to come. Even though I know it won't be easy, I am positive that eventually it will be worth it. I have high expectations for my college experience and I will do everything in my power to meet those expectations. Getting the chance to come to the college of my dreams is something that I will never take for granted and something that I will be grateful for every single day. Everything about ONU is so incredible; the people, the facilities, the professors, the classes, and everything in between. The last week and a half has been everything I have wanted and more, and I can not wait to see all the opportunities that the next four years will bring.
I completely agree that the atmosphere of this campus is totally different from other places where I had been to. I want to make the most of this opportunity to be a member of ONU. Let's have a extremely good time here!
ReplyDeleteAs I am exchange student, I compares everything on ONU to the University I go in Japan. I am very satisfied with ONU so far. I like the atmosphere of ONU and I am very enjoying meeting with new friends. I am excited to see what this year is going to be too!

ReplyDeleteI am so glad that you came to Ohio Northern. My last 3 years here have been nothing short of amazing. As you know, I was on the softball team my first two years at ONU. When I got here as a freshman I was so nervous but as soon as I met the softball all those nerves went away. Those girls on the team are truly the best. I cant express to you how lucky you are to be apart of such a great group of girls. You will not only love the team but the coaches are also so supportive and make the game so fun. Good luck this year Hannah. I know you are going to do big things.
